Happy Cakes Bakery Cancellation and Refund Policy
Orders can be canceled and refunded if necessary.
When can an order be canceled and a refund be issued?
- An order can be canceled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time. Orders for Same Day Delivery or delivery within 2-3 hours can NOT be canceled after they are placed. If you cancel your order, there will be a 8% service charge applied to your return.
- If we are responsible for the non-delivery of floral products or cake on the scheduled delivery date, we will either refund you in full or redeliver your order at a later date.
- In the event that you receive damaged merchandise, we will either refund you in full or redeliver a replacement product (s). It should be noted that in order to claim a refund or a replacement, the original product must be returned.
- If we are unable to complete your order, we will issue a full refund.
- If we ship the incorrect product, we will replace it with the proper one. Please keep in mind that the original (incorrect) product will have to be returned.
Cancellation Procedures for Orders
Cancellations of orders should be emailed to orders@happycakesbakery.co.ke with the subject “Cancellation Request.”
The following information must be included in the email:-
a. Order ID:
b. Cancellation Reason:
c. Refund Account Details:
After receiving a formal order cancellation request at orders@happycakesbakery.co.ke, the cancellation process will begin.
The following conditions must be met in order to receive a refund:
a. The order has been canceled.
b. The recipient did not get the order.
(Note that this does not apply to the situation of the unfounded receiver.)
c. If a client complains about the quality of a product that has been delivered, we will investigate and, if the complaint is found to be valid, the customer will receive a full refund or the product will be replaced.
Please Note: A refund can only be requested in case of service failure, our team will evaluate if an order qualifies for a refund and the decision of our management will be final. The refund amount in no circumstances can exceed the amount paid by customer, we are not liable for any loss or claim beyond the amount actually paid by customer.
